Group Counseling Sessions is another service offered by the Counseling Dept. These sessions are organized when the clients have a common need or interest, so a brief discussion of the required issue becomes the topic of a group counseling session given by professional people in the business related field. Group Counseling sessions that took place are:

Simplified legal concepts session
The session date (27/10/02)
The number of attendees was around 20 entrepreneurs (owning existing businesses).
The session discussed:
- The different types of companies
- The selection the legal classification for the business.
- The legal documentation required to establish a business (commercial registry, tax card, different licensing, )
The speaker was Mr.Sameh Khoder (A partner at Zaki Hashim office).

- All the rules, steps, governmental organizations, requirements, fees, and time frame for issuance of legal documents.

Animal breeding session
The first session date (08/10/02)
The Second session date (30/12/02)
The average number of attendees for each session was around 20 clients.
The guest speakers were:
- University professors to talk about the technicalities of animal breeding
- CIB Representative to talk about the loan program
- A private Company specialized in animal breeding projects establishment (providing equipment, animals, )

Mushroom Session
The session date (29/01/03)
The number of attendees was 25 clients
A large number of clients needed to start this business as it needs a small capital.
The session covered two main aspects of the Mushroom production:
- The Technical aspect:
The speakers were professors from the Food Technology Research Institute to talk about the technical part.
- The Marketing aspect:
The speaker was the Manager of the training center for Recycling of Agricultural Residues.

How to find a business idea
The session date (21/10/02)
This session was prepared by the center as many of our clients were unable to find the suitable idea so we tried to help them finding an idea.

Productive Family Session
The session date (04/02/03)
The number of attendees was 35 clients.
Many clients wanted to start a home based business that depends mainly on hand made products.
The speaker was the chairman of the association to give a brief on the association services:
- Quality development for products
- Association permanent outlets
- Periodical exhibitions of the association
- The available technical training

Loan procedure through Social Fund(SFD)
This session was prepared on 3/11/2002.
A Representative from SFD met with around 20 clients to answer all their questations concerning the loan procedures at SFD .
